Comments

So I don't know how many regular readers I have. I am guessing that the number is somewhere around 6 or 7. And of that handful of readers I think only one actually has a blog (and a great one to boot), so I thought I would inform you all of a blog writing fact. Comments are very very important to blog writers. It is cool to see the numbers your stat counter gives you and know that people are reading your blog, but it is really important to know what they are thinking.

When no one comments on your blog you begin to question how good/ interesting/ worth while it is. My friend claire's blog gets tons of comments (click link above to read), because it is genuinely good. My blog on the other hand only has one comment on the whole page, and it is my cute friend Leilani just saying hi.

A few weeks ago my blog was getting pretty regular comments and I was feeling fairly good about it, but now I hear crickets every time I look at my page. Is anyone out there? If you are, please consider posting a comment....you can post a comment anytime one of my posts means anything to you or makes you think of anything. Claire has readers that post very regularly and it is always interesting to read what they have to say.

So be kind, post a comment next time you think of one...

Sorry about the shameless plug!

I'm here! I've been stopping by most days for the past few weeks. I think I might have posted some comments a while back...but I haven't had any relevant ones lately. I don't right now, either, so I'm just posting to let you know I'm here!

Hey, Poo. Remember when you straightened Neda's hair and made her look like a Bond girl? Also, your blog is a sweet, scrumptious delight. Muah!

Thanks guys...much appreciated :)

Claire, what made you think about when I straightened Neda's hair? I think about you two all the time, I miss the times we had in the Triple....When ever I hear "Movies" I tell anyone in earshot about the three of us jumping on our beds and singing....

OK OK, I'll post a damn comment. I actually check your blog everyday, but I never think of anything clever to say. So here's something (not so clever and waaaay nerdy): I am taking this Friday off work to attend "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" by myself at 10am in the morning. I am soooo cool. Pace, Linds

I'm the one who visits your blog 3 times a day because I think it's fab. I've even e-mailed some friends about it. Even internationally. Perhaps you can go the AIM way and post the link. In regard to your map o' fun, I think you'll likely instigate a brawl. Now I know you have experience with bar fights and fast balls but do you have fists of fury? I sure do. Give me a call when the hit shts on the fan. I mean.... Latte.

Oh my god! I almost forgot! New Years bar fight at the Rockin' Taco with drunk-ass bikers in black leather and their trashy biker whores! Soooo fun!

Can we reenact The 2003-2004 Bar Battle? We can get Jess and shoot on location, F'burg AND rockin' taco. Mel, do you think you can scream into a cell phone to the point of again only emitting electric static? And then after that I can drive the wrong way on a one-way street on a cop-ridden night; and then after THAT you guys can call me continuously until YOU, on the west coast, get sleepy. Yeah. Let's do it. And then I'll drive my coach's audi to Florida the same morning. Rad.
